A long time ago in Rovaniemi far, far away in the Arctic circle, there was Vastarannan kino. It meant joy, laughter, enthusiastic filmmakers, ideas out of this world, sleepless nights, sweat, tears and blood, and most importantly the-one-and-only: Rubber Duck. But then a ripple in the space time continuum shook the realm of Vastarannan kino and the organisers were lost in a time loop for almost six years. We’re happy to say that they’ve fought their way back to present day and it’s time for another round of Kino.

We’re proud to announce that the new Vastarannan Kino is rising and we’re open for applications!

It will take place in Rovaniemi 22.-25.2.2024.
