With an international group of sixteen participants from Finland, China and Spain, this time Vastarannan Kino had emphasis on video editing. A professional, Jussi Award -nominated film editor Jenny Tervakari came from Helsinki as a tutor, and she also gave a public presentation on film editing. She has edited e.g. the feature film Thick Lashes of Lauri Mäntyvaara.

The Kino headquarters was in Culture house Wiljami, where a public screening of the finished short films was held on 1st of September. A total of eleven short films were made in the Kino.

Some filming equipment were borrowed and editing spaces provided by University of Lapland.

The Kino got financial aid from Majaoja Foundation and City of Rovaniemi.
